WHO I AM…
My name is Amanda Svedarsky and I have spent the past 10+ years in leadership positions building and managing high-performing teams for large corporations. After herniating a disc in my lower back October 2009, and spending 6 months on medical leave from both my personal and professional ambitions, I was unwillingly forced into reflection. During the darkest days of my life I began to see things clearly for the first time…success must be defined by something greater than ourselves, or we will become nameless, lost, and alone in times of despair.
Throughout this period of reflection I began to journal on the wall of my condo, what I now define as my “Wall of Intent”. Everything from my company name to The Footprints Forward Program started to emerge in my thoughts – and I started to pay close attention to my instincts. I knew in the depths of my pain that if I didn’t start to act on the path before me, I was never going to walk again. If I wanted to heal, I had to figure out who I was…and thus was born Angels and Emails LLC.
Heal the broken individual, and fix the institution…
Who we are as individuals and institutions (Angels) and the footprints we leave on our collegues, clients, and communities (Emails) – will define the course of the future.
